The successful candidate  software engineer will under the direction of the ICT Officer, develop, grow and support custom software systems.

Must be PROFICIENT and have experience in:

• Professional training and/or academic qualification in Computer Science or similar field.
• Php and Laravel systems development.
• Object-oriented programming principals and implementation.
• Developing scalabale applications.
• Databases administration – designing and implementing schemas, optimisation. MySQL a must.
• Linux server administration.
• Data analysis.
• Microsoft Excel.
• TDD
• Documentation & Reporting
• Git and version control.
• API development and integration.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components
• Refactor, optimize and improve existing codebase for maintenance and scale
